LSCS scar endometriosis

LSCS scar endometriosis is a known complication of cesarean section delivery.
Typically markedly hypoechoic mass like painful lesion at the site of LSCS scar on abdominal on ultrasound.
Marked vascularity present.

Musculoskeletal ultrasound

Musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging has come of age with the use of high frequency probes to image muscles and joints as well as the abdominal wall. The images below show CT scan Sagittal and transverse sections through the abdomen of a patient with Paraumbilical hernia diagnosed initially by ultrasound.

CT scan often helps confirm findings.
